Enforced OpenAI proxy — September 2026

New: POST https://valta.co/v1/chat/completions. Point any OpenAI client at https://valta.co/v1 with a Valta virtual key; Valta checks the agent's Cap and freeze before forwarding, and fails closed. Step-by-step guide · How it works · API.
New: store an agent's OpenAI key (encrypted) and mint/revoke virtual keys — dashboard (agent page → Cap card) or /api/v1/agents/:id/provider-keys and /virtual-keys.
New: GET https://valta.co/v1/health.
Plans: Free 1 virtual key, 10 requests/min, $50 tracked/month; Builder ($29) 10 keys, $500; Startup ($99) 50 keys, $5,000. Over a limit → HTTP 402 with an upgrade link.
Fixed: freezing through the API now also stops Cap and proxy calls, and unfreezing from the dashboard no longer leaves the agent looking frozen.
Fixed: Cap's per-run limit now adds up across every call in a run (it was acting per call).
Scope: OpenAI Chat Completions only, non-streaming. Valta doesn't resell tokens — you pay OpenAI directly.
