Supported Networks

Valta wallets are funded with USDC, a fully-reserved stablecoin issued by Circle and pegged 1:1 to the US dollar. We currently support USDC on Base only — additional chains are planned but not live yet (see below). Sending USDC on any other network, including Ethereum mainnet, results in permanent loss of funds: Valta cannot recover assets sent to a network it isn't monitoring. Always confirm you're sending on Base before depositing.

Base (Layer 2)

Base is an Ethereum Layer 2 network built by Coinbase. It inherits Ethereum's security while offering dramatically lower transaction fees and faster confirmation times. Valta supports USDC on Base as the recommended network for routine wallet funding. If you are depositing frequently or in smaller amounts, Base reduces cost and friction significantly.

• Gas fees: typically under $0.01 per transfer
• Best suited for: frequent deposits, small-to-medium amounts, day-to-day wallet management

Coming Soon

We are expanding to additional networks where USDC has native issuance from Circle. Each new chain will be integrated into the unified Valta ledger, so your experience remains identical regardless of which network you deposit from.

Ethereum Mainnet

The original home of USDC and the broadest exchange compatibility, at the cost of higher gas fees and slower finality than Base. Not yet supported — do not send USDC on Ethereum mainnet to a Valta address today. Expected availability: Q3 2026.

Arbitrum One

Another Ethereum Layer 2 with strong DeFi adoption and native USDC issuance. Arbitrum offers low fees and fast confirmations, providing an alternative L2 option for teams already operating on the Arbitrum ecosystem. Expected availability: Q3 2026.

Polygon PoS

A widely used sidechain with native USDC support and extensive exchange integration. Polygon is popular in emerging markets and among teams running high-frequency, low-value transactions. Expected availability: Q3 2026.

Solana

A high-throughput Layer 1 chain with native USDC and sub-second finality. Solana is the primary choice for teams building AI agents in the Solana ecosystem and for use cases requiring extremely high transaction volumes. Expected availability: Q4 2026.
